My red Monte Carlo is the bomb!!! 321,000 miles and it’s still going! Smooth ride as ever! Great gas mileage! I love it! I’m sure it’ll outlast me! I very highly recommend!

I bought this car 2 years ago and it has been a blessing. I've had no engine or transmission problems with it and no break-downs. Newly replaced all 4 tires and all breaks. Warranty on both.
    • Monte Carlo’s reliability and value

I purchased my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo Ls with the 3.4 in July 2020 with only 52k miles on it. The Monte gets an average of 24 to 25 mpg. It’s comfortable and is a nice everyday driver. The only major problem that I’ve had with it is the repeated problems with the Emission Control System needing several of it’s components replaced over time.

For used vehicles, MPG estimates are EPA estimates for the vehicle when it was new. The EPA periodically modifies its MPG calculation methodology; all MPG estimates are based on the methodology in effect when the vehicles were new (please see the “Fuel Economy” portion of the EPA’s website for details, including a MPG recalculation tool).
